Hi, We use OR Management here for scheduling, documentation and now Preference cards. We upgrade or changed over from magic to client server in 2004 and just started using the Preference card portion last November. >We converted our old cases from Magic to Client Server and it was not a full success. They could not convert text and we had multiple errors and some that were never solved. >The scheduling or booking side is very user friendly. >The documentation screens are all user define, so the number of screens you create to match the flow of the case will decide how fast the documentation will be. >Screens good be bigger to fit more information. >Manage routines are very good. >The printing functions need to be better, can not make use of print formats and they have no spooling or batch printing to multiple printers. >Need to have knowledge of SQL for report writing and server issues. > Application is very resource intensive and does not work well at all on wireless laptops. >Our core group felt that Picis needed to give us better implementation support. >Charging from supplies and billing rules works well. >We need to work more on our Preference Cards to minimize the exception noting for supplies. This will take up a lot of time for the OR nurses or the person you have that will review or audit. Scheduling, Charges Clinical, Documentation)? For clinical documentation, what is the ease of use? Is it like the NUR documentation where it can be time-consuming and cumbersome? Is it user-friendly?
