Good morning again, To Kimberly and Robert, Robert, Kim I correct your audience of primary users, is the most important issue. However, on the clinical side, LAB, ITS, OE, PHA etc. no one sees the B/AR mnemonic. Each of those modules use the modules assigned mnemonic for ordering, etc. Certain reports from ESS and other trending modules, pull from BAR identify the billing code. Otherwise, for "Charge Master Listings" etc....that is the only time the bill code is relevant. Again, as Kim stated the primary users of the charge procedure dictionary is the most important, Standardly the people that see the output from this dictionary the most are the billers. They don't actually use the dictionary, but the output from the dictionary is what shows on the account and for follow-up and knowing what is being billed. Again, just hoping to help.
