======================================

We recently had our JCAHO visit for "Point of Care Testing" (POC).

We were told that every place we might document a POC, we had to display
the normal range.

We scraped by this because our NPR report that lists glucoses, had "a"
normal range of 60-125
at the bottom of the report.

BUT>>> they also want the normal on the CDS when we document it.

Normals can vary based on the patient's age.

What about ACT (Hemacron) tests? The normals are different based on the
current procedure (dialysis, Cath procedure, etc.)

What have you heard? What do you do?
