Mike,

In Lab you could create a scheduled report for him and consider using the LAB
Telecom dictionaries to set him up as a Site, define his printer there (if it
is a network printer) and automate the report printing that way.

Good Afternoon L'ers!
The chief of our Hospitalist group is looking for a way to have his
patient's lab results print automatically to his printer each day. He
came from another hospital which utilized Forward Advantage to do this
for him. We do NOT have Forward Advantage nor will we be getting it (or
any other solution associated with a cost) any time soon. Is there any
way to accomplish this directly through Meditech (either through the LAB
application or the Rounds report in PCI)? Does anybody have a custom
report so I don't have to re-invent the wheel? Any help with this will
be extremely appreciated! Thanks for always being a great resource! -
Mike
