Hi Ganesh,
We had that happen to us when we first went wireless in 2000, and the
problem was due to the NIC card in the background server for PCS/NUR. Once
we replaced it, the problem was resolved.

i've been asked to post this by our operations group for suggestions:

We are having problems with users losing their signal and being knocked out
of Meditech while doing assessments. We have carts with Fuijitsu 4120
tablets and Cisco Aironet antennas. The user typically hangs in the middle
of an assessment, but not consistently in the same place on the screen or
the same physical location of the cart. The Meditech session is
disconnected, but there is generally no problem connecting to Meditech
immediately afterwards. We have checked to make sure the access points are
in the correct place and they seem to be.

thanks, ganesh seshadri, indiana regional.
