Hello Everyone, We're currently discussing the impact of having Meditech switch us from a 7-digit account number to something longer possibly 10 or maybe the maximum length of 12 digits. Meditech said they will make this change once in a system's lifetime. We will open a new facility and are thinking of prefixing our current 7-digit account number with 'MR' which would leave 5 digits remaining. Not enough digits to sustain the new facility hence the need to increase our account number length. Has anyone done this before and if so could you share your experiences and suggestions?
