Good Morning, We are in the process of initiating bedside registration and are beginning with our ED. We've done some trial runs and have finally gotten our equipment delivered and setup to deploy. We're hoping to start soon, but have not officially begun. Our Pre Op patients have a separate registration area from the Main Admitting area and in the discussions we've had, I'm not certain there were any plans to change this registration process. We recently built a Diagnostic Imaging Center and all Radiology Outpatients go directly to this area and are admitted there. We have five private cubicles where registration is done then the patient returns to the waiting area until the Techs are ready to bring them back for their procedures. I would like to see if there are any facilities out there that have Meditech and do bedside registrations. I am not sure how this will occur logistically.
