This is one of my biggest "gripes" about MediTech. There are so many
screens to hit enter through. I went to a talk and the lecturer called
it "screen fatigue". There are so many screens that we have to hit
enter on that we become numb to the important ones. It would be almost
better if Meditech would give you one "problem" screen with the more
serious ones highlighted and to the top. Don't have the best answer but
know the current solution is not optimal.

We try to enter the generic and ingredient allergies for each drug
allergy. This seems to catch the most. We are hoping that the new
FirstDataBank (the other 2 to follow shortly from Meditech) system we
are moving to will reduce some of the problems since the allergies are
done completely differently.
