You can get a custom for the status board to create one for physicians that will bring in their list of patients in a bed. We are currently in the process of getting this custom. It would be great if everyone would support this and maybe it will become standard instead of people having to pay for this custom like we are going to have to. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== I think one of the bigger issues you will have is dealing with the HIPAA problem of not being able to restrict the physician to his list of patients. That capability isn't in the status board as it was built for Nursing. Although in some circumstances it may work if you have intensivists who care for all the patients in a given unit. We built a flowsheet for one of our intesivists and he accesses it via the status board. Because he is unrestricted he is audited regularly.
