We have had electronic TSystems for a few years now. We didn't like the looks of EDM at the time, although may migrate to that in the future with our EMR project. Being one of the first hospitals to implement TSystems, it was a bumpy road in the beginning. A lot of the problems had to do with the hardware for the docs. After a long learning curve on how to maintain the Airpanels, the docs have been very enthusiastic about the product. TSystems is easy to learn and has been very reliable. System support has been very good. We have just upgraded to the newest version that will allow lab results to populate. The major drawback is no order entry. Patient demographics flow in from Meditech Admitting and reports flow to PCI. Later this year we will be adding the Nursing version of TSystem for our ED. That will be interesting.
