I have done most of the report writing for NUR here. I have only had Beginner and Intermediate NPR courses at Meditech. You will most likely need to write simple macros and some do loops and ask the L for alot of help in the beginning. I just picked up the Advanced report writer manual and read how to incorporate macros and was able to do most of what I needed.
There were times I needed to get help from Meditech and they were very helpful. Most of what I have learned I picked up from the L.
The best advice I can give you is find someone who actually enjoys the challenge of writing NPR reports. Send them to NPR school... it is free... or hire any number of resources to provide you with classes. If they have any basic programing background they will be way ahead.. I didn't... but I'm still alive.

NPR report writing for this module seems like it is a challenging task at best. My director is considering sending someone to MAGIC programming training, if that is what is needed, so I was asked to take a poll. Of those of you who write your own NPR reports, for NUR in particular, what training have you had? Where did you obtain your training? Would MAGIC programming training be beneficial? Of those who have had MAGIC programming training, what other uses do you apply it to? Of those of you who have outsourced NPR RW, what is the estimated cost per year you have spent?
