Does anyone have a policy they are willing to share that addresses triage nurses placing orders prior to a medical screen by a physician? An example would be an ankle x-ray for a sprain (if meets criteria), or starting an Abdominal Pain orderset upon presentation (UA or Abdominal x-ray). Any guidelines out there?
