Title: Fuji PACS and combining related studies
We are going to implement Fuji PACS with Meditech 5.5 Client Server in the next few months. This morning Fuji mentioned some Meditech sites out there have created combination codes to consolidate related orders (e.g. separate orders for a patient to get a CT Abdomen, CT Thorax, CT Pelvis are entered, but only one combo order goes over to Fuji) and then the procedures “explode” back out of the combo code so the billing is correct.
If anyone out there has done this or something similar, we’d really like to hear from you about what you did and how you did it.
