Job Description:
Reporting to the Emergency Department (ED) Nurse Manager, the ED Analyst
will have primary responsibility for the information systems, software, and
processes relating to the Emergency Department and related committees. The
ED Analyst will work closely with other departments and groups throughout
Emerson Health System to ensure the most optimal functionality of ED related
software and processes. The ED Analyst will ensure the free flow of
information between all areas of the Health System and will protect the
accuracy, privacy, and security of all Emerson data.
This positionÂ’s primary responsibility is to the ED, however will include
Emerson–wide responsibilities such as the development and maintenance of the
Trauma and Stroke Center Databases. The ED Analyst is a professional who
will promote teamwork and respect. Additionally, the ED Analyst will
support the mission, values and philosophy of the Emerson Health System.
