Hi All – My facility is in the very beginning stages of switching our
current pharmacy clinical system to Meditech 5.5.3 (we are already live with
ADM and B/AR). We are wondering if you can give us some advice. First we would like to know what type of printers (and
labels) you would recommend and why you chose the printer you are using. Do
you have different printers for IV’s and Med’s? We will be
using bar code technology if that helps. Secondly, if you are using Pyxis Connect we would like to
know if you have encountered any problems with linking orders and if so how you
handled it. Note: our current labels from ADM print the patient
account number on them which includes has the following format: V00xxxxxxx
