I once did a `report' similar to this - it sends out a MOX message to all active users in the user dictionary to let them know what their phone number is listed as in the user dictionary. They can then email back corrections. Since there is a field `this user is provider xxxxxxxxx' the report could be modified to get provider information - or you could write it for the doctor dictionary DPM. The email part of the report is disabled (it tells you how to enable it). You'd also have to custom the message ... Created a NPR and then did a letter, mail merge in WORD; Sending out a letter asking for verification on fields with a fax back number. Once they are faxed back, we will make changes. We have over 4000 doctors in our Provider dictionary and our main concerns are the non staff physicians (3850). How does your facilities clean up name changes or misspells, address changes and the checking of the sanction lists. Does anybody have the sanction list automated somehow?
