Title: M5.5 SR1 - Tube feeding charging question
|
Hi Michelle, Don’t know if you have any answers
yet on your question, but what we did was to create a charge formula for
enteral feedings with a daily charge rate of XX amount of dollars. This formula
is PP (price protected) and is attached to the various enteral feedings we
have. We use the closed container system, so our bottles are dispensed as
1/daily. By the way we are 5.4sr2. Hope
this helps. Diane From: Hello
L-users, My
pharmacist would like to know if there is a way to charge for only 1 bottle of
tube feeding for a day, although the order is for a feeding 3 times a day.
Example: Barney Rubble gets 300ml of feeding TID. The bottle is 1000 ml.
So he should only get 1 bottle a day. How can we accomplish this?
I
have tried created a charging formula with an N for “leftovers”
but that doesn’t seem to work. Bulk doesn’t seem to work
either – although maybe I have it set up incorrectly. Any
help would be appreciated!! Thanks Michelle Systems Analyst Information Services Sinai Health System (773) 257-6020 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.sinai.org "People
