Check out http://www.talyst.com/. This system will do your inpatient and outpatient drug orders and split them electronically so you don't have to keep a seperate physicial inventory. All you need from the Meditech system is a NPR report to pull the data it needs.

We are 768 bed acute care facility, looking to see if any DSH hospitals out there are participating in the 340B drug discount program and if so, what software or methods are you using to split your bills based on Inpatient /Outpatient criteria. Any information regarding this topic will be greatly appreciated.
p.s. If anyone is using the Meditech B/AR system to do this we would be extremely interested in speaking with you.
