In getting ready for our Go-Live, we recently had a downtime for apply patches and reboot servers. During the preparation for the downtime some questions came up. Is there a way, in Meditech C/S 5.5 SR2, to view what users are currently on the system? This would allow us to ensure that there isn't a last minute ER registration going on, or something of that nature. What is the best method to keep users off the system, until the entire system is up and running? Much like I imagine the process would be for an upgrade situation, where you want to verify things before the major users start using the system? Is there a way to modify who can get on the system, such that we could let registration on first, to register patients that were admitted during a downtime, before the floors had access? I'm sure that we will have more questions as we Go-Live, and look forward to the answers and discussions on the topics. Thank you in advance. Brian H.
