To Lr's,
What is your communication process between Nursing and other disciplines
to relay pertinent patient observations/information (ie. Speech
Therapist finds that the patient is at high risk for aspiration, wants
nursing to keep a close watch on the patient while eating)? Do they do
this thru Patient Notes? If so, what if the nurse doesn't get to read it
until after several hours later? Any input is appreciated. Have a safe
weekend to all!
