I'd like to write a pharmacy rule that causes a pop-up message when a bulk drug such as an inhaler, is filed with a dispense quantity of zero. I'd like to, but I can't get it to work. Using the line editor, which is the only way I know how to write rules, I've chosen the if value "rx total dose." If that value is zero, then it should cause a pop-up message when the drug is filed, but it doesn't. I've said to implent when the drug is filed both in the rule itself and where I've attached it. Is there another "if" indicator I should be using for the amount dispensed (zero?) Thanks in advance.
