You don't say what printer or software but....
For Datamax printers and MAGIC, KB article 16856 fixed the problem here.
Basically you add a footnote to the report:
AL PRINT {0,0}^/R.FARGO.OVERRIDES

Is there any way to make the bar code that prints from NPR wider. I
have a NPR fragment that contains a calculated field to print the bar
code donor number. I am using the following parameters in the calc
field.
DAT=BAR.CODE
JFY=L
LEN=25
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
The bar code prints but is very narrow. Is there a way to increase the
width?
