Tab is ASCII code 009.  Just FYI: I have one tab-delimited report that
doesn't use delimiters.  Instead, I just placed the info on the screen
where it was needed (using NL=NO on line checks as appropriate.)  When
it prints out, it puts the fields at the correct positions.
