Title: MMC - Purging and Archiving in Meditech
All,
- We are considering upping the purge limits in many of our modules to be 7 years. (some are even set for 27 years now)
- Has anyone ever done this without crippling the systems? (our servers are new Dell (last year) with OSAL, SAN, IDR and ISB design)
- Meditech cautions against this since the production database gets so large. (anyone doing this anyway?
- Anyone using archive segments? (no not know much about this - OD or traditional disk)
- Anyone ever able to correlate "legal" requirements back to the Meditech Purge parameters?
