We have most of our shift and admission assessments set up with the normals
set as labels and variant data comment boxes. We have been through three
JCAHO surveys and have never taken a hit, it has also made it much more
efficient for our nursing staff.

We are redesigning our assessment to identify WNL..........which is the best
way to display and print the normals with the printed documentation....

I have seen CDS labels that appear on the assessment and print along with
the assessment....

I have also seen people use protocols but am not sure how this works...can
you make a protocol print with documentation and can you trigger it to
reveal itself or is that an intentional thing the nurse would have to do

And I have seen the on-line documentation used as you build the CDS , but I
am not sure how to get this to print with the documentation

In other words I want to display the normal ranges when the nurse begins to
document into that system, and then when printing that assessment I want the
normals to print also.......................what is the easiest way to do
that...
