I'm not familiar with this data segment, but assume the field is
"emp.name" and it is formatted as  "Last, First Middle".  You can use
the "punctuation method" to extract the pieces (at least in MAGIC, can't
speak for C/S)

[EMAIL PROTECTED]"0," gives you the number zero "piece" (last name)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"1," gives you the number one "piece" (everything else)

I hope someone can help me with this computed field. I'm attempting to
extract an employee's last name in a field and their first name/initial
in another field so I can download to a spreadsheet.  I did find a KB
article that sort of addresses this, but not entirely.  I'm writing this
in PP.PER.  Any help would be appreciated.
