Title: [MEDITECH-L] Medication patches and the on-line-MAR
We use a dummy drug called "Remove Patch", that is used as a reminder for when to
take off the patch.  ie: Nitro patch, remove q hs.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Medication patches and the on-line-MAR

Hi All,
When users document that they are putting a patch on and removing the
old one, how are they documenting this? I was thinking we would schedule Q3D
(or what ever the frequency is ) and then include a CDS for them to document
that they removed the old one and wasted it. Is anyone doing this? Also, if
they are removing the patch and not putting on another one, how are you
prompting them so they can say they removed the patch?

Thanks
