Cristina - I believe that if you run # 24. FSV Non-Matching List then this will give you a good idea of what obsolete NDC's that you have because usually the stuff that shows up on here is because of obsolete NDC's.

Hi there,

I am trying to research on the L (been typing “obsolete NDC #’s) but I’m not getting any search returns. Anyway, let me ask the Pharmacy gurus. We are having problems with the obsolete NDC #’s not getting updated and it affects the Food/Drug/Allergy Interaction page as it doesn’t get populated.

We contacted both MEDITECH and First Data Bank and feels like we are stuck in the middle. How do you deal with the new NDC#’s? Do you change it manually for each drug? How long does it take you to do it? Any easy way out? I can feel our Pharmacy’s pain when I told them that this is the only way to do it. We are Magic 5.4. Thanks in advance for your input.
