Title: EDM Requiring Discharge Indo prior to Departure
Hi,
Has anyone encountered a solution for making sure the Discharge data and departure are documented before entering a Final Status Event? The problem occurring is that a tech or someone else will put the patient in a Final Status event and/or take the patient off the tracker BEFORE the Nurse has actually departed the patient. The site is asking for a custom so that no one can enter the final status event of ELOPED/CLEAN BED until the patient has a departure filed.
Any comments or suggestions?
