Unfortunately, users will do whatever it takes to get a patient off the tracker. We have a custom request to make the depart fields required, but have not considered restricting the final status event. My concern is that the users would start departing the accounts that were created in error and we wouldn't find them. >>> "Gustavson, Kelly - Perot" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 07/25/2006 3:10:39 PM >>> All messages should be posted in plain text. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Hi, Has anyone encountered a solution for making sure the Discharge data and departure are documented before entering a Final Status Event? The problem occurring is that a tech or someone else will put the patient in a Final Status event and/or take the patient off the tracker BEFORE the Nurse has actually departed the patient. The site is asking for a custom so that no one can enter the final status event of ELOPED/CLEAN BED until the patient has a departure filed. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks! _______________________________________________ meditech-l mailing list [email protected] http://mtusers.com/mailman/listinfo/meditech-l
