I would recommend simply calculating the BMI where it needs to be used because the DFT attribute only works if there isn't a value already in the query. But, why even put that query on a second time? Once you have the BMI, or even if you simply calculate it in the background, why display it again at a specific point in the process? If the staff don't make any judgment calls about the BMI they see, and don't calculate it, and if the DVT risk already considers it, why place an additional query there for staff to enter through?
