Title: Digi PortServer with USR modem

I’m generally a lurker on this list, but I have seen a few posts lately about instrument problems with the Digi servers, so I thought I’d throw my question out here for all you Magic sites.
We are Magic 5.4 sr3 and have been attempting for some time to get a telecom modem to work on a Digi, with limited success. We are using a US Robotics modem and the issue we’re seeing is that the reports transmit fine from LAB, but there is a significant delay from the END OF REPORT message until the modem actually hangs up (1 - 2 minutes).
Has anyone else attempted this setup and if so, are you seeing this as well? Meditech has worked with us on this all along, but so far, has come up empty. They can find no problem with the setup. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
