I am not aware of HCA being "stingy" about sharing their NPR reports. There are some issues you would want to be aware of: First, HCA has a custom version of Meditech. And, while we are moving closer to the main stream version, we aren't there yet. So, you could get something that works great for an HCA facility, but points to some index or data that doesn't exist in your environment. Second, most NPR reports have not been built by the PCM at the facility level. They are something that someone at a much higher level has designed. So, some of the people participating on this list would not be able to answer questions regarding how to "make it work" once you get it and it doesn't work like you thought. That's just a couple of reasons why you might not see tons of HCA reports floating about.
