We just received the test system emulator and it works great. I have
used a couple of times now to simulate removing a med from the machine
and it works exactly like being at the machine.

Only unfortunate part is that there is NO documentation provided with it
and you have to "figure it out" for yourself.

This is the DPM.procedure that Meditech attached to our menus:
PHA.INFCE.zcus.in.2000

A test console and station is the only way I know. We have one and it
is invaluable. We have it in our training room. We use to for testing
and can use for Nurses that need to practice. Talk to your sales rep
with Pyxis. If you are a larger customer, there may not be much of a
charge to provide a TEST system.

As an aside, I was told last time I was at training at Meditech, that a
future version of MAGIC will have a "dispensing machine" emulator that
will allow testing a vending machine without the actual hardware.
Didn't get any details. HTH

How do you test your Pyxis interface for a ring release??? Pyxis is
telling us we need to purchase a test station and drawer. I can't
believe they didn't mention this when we purchased the product, can
anyone clarify/help me understand this??????
Thanks.
