Nancy....... We have had secondary job codes in place for quite some time. First of all, they are recorded on the employee's record on p. 5. As employees log hours in ADP etime [kronos product], the file read into Meditech timecards records the hours against the secondary job codes. Works really well. Not only do we use the secondary job codes but secondary base rates as well.
