Title: Magic PHA POM rule to add stop date for antibiotics - Help

Michelle-

POM Rules are different – it will eventually have a field like [f pom ord].  Use the LINE editor and you might get closer…still not sure about your CDW though.

Later.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Magic PHA POM rule to add stop date for antibiotics -Help

Greetings to L land!

My pharmacists want to ensure that the providers enter a stop date for all antibiotics in POM.

Does anyone have a rule out there that does that, or something similar that I can adapt?  I have tried to change the allergy check rule to no avail, and I do not know what I am doing wrong. It says I have 2 translation errors.

This is what I have:

I created a RX PHA Cust-Def word called Z.STOP.DATE with a code of @PHA.RX.file.stop.date

Rule called POMSTOPDAT which is:

[f Z.STOP.DATE]^STOPDATE,

       "Must enter stop date for antibiotics"^NOALL,

       IF{STOPDATE_.=. [f rx err msg](NOALL);

       1};

We are Magic 5.5 SR1

Thanks in advance!

Michelle
