Hi Angela-
Those are good questions, but understand that each application will most
likely have subtle differences as well. An example would be the eMAR - in
the Magic NUR parameters you can limit the access of the user to only view
specific Order Types (great for RT, etc.), in PCS (CS) this isn't possible.
With regards to POM, Magic has a separate dictionary called Quick Scripts to
aid in building order strings...CS does not.

CS is pretty, Magic is not. :-) I work in both environments and I will say
one thing - when you go from Magic to CS, <F11> will make you nuts!

You'll need to do some investigative work on your apps and see if the time
spent would match the desired outcome.

Best of luck - Kevin.

Hello L,
We currently are a Magic site and there has been some discussion about
the Pros and Cons of Magic vs. Client Server.
Since I have not worked with C/S, I am unable to compare. Therefore, I
am looking to those who know best.

A few of MY questions are:
Is CDS attributing similar?
Is NPR Report Writing similar?
Can you use pop up CDS's in C/S?
Would you switch from Magic to C/S?
Is C/S as stable as Magic?
Are there any other important differences to consider?

Any and all opinions are appreciated! TIA!
