Hi Lynn,

We are Magic 5.5SR1 and have the Architect ci8200.  Our QC crosses based on QC mnemonic rather than barcode.

Good luck!  Brenda

Is there anyone who is running a Laboratory interface for the Abbott Architect i2000SR with Meditech who could answer a question about how you set up QC?

We are trying to run barcoded controls at the Architect (same barcode defined at both analyzer system config and in Meditech Std/Control & Analyzer type dictionaries) and have the specimens go across the interface, and Meditech create QC specimens based on the bar code number recognition and the tests being sent.  This is how our B-C Chemistry analyzer interfaces work, but we can't seem to get this to happen with the i2000 interface.  Any suggestions?

thanks
