We tried to implement MIC interface to Quest unsuccesssfully several years ago. Meditech had pending DTS to address issue identified that result comments sent from Quest do not post into Meditech for MIC module. Since reference lab address information was sent in comment and is CAP regulation we did not pursue further. Also our testing was restricted to MIC tests without susceptibilities. Do any of you have Microbiology specimens set up to send the order and file the results to and from the MIC module? I can get the order sent, but the results fail in the INBOX.
