Warren: We just went thru our Survey about 2 weeks ago and had no problems with this issue or any other. We capture home meds on our Triage Assessment, when we depart the patient, and the doctor writes a script, currently we give them the paper scripts and we scan that script and instructions into MRI forms and they appear in PCI along with other EDM Data. Our next step is on-line script writing with RXM, we are ready to GO-LIVE, I have been waiting on our ER Medical Director to get back from his tour of duty in Iraq, he is back now and we met last week and are moving forward. With the script on-line, and the PIC instructions on-line, what we plan to do is on EDM Departure, the new scripts written will be recorded by the departing nurse on the EDM Departure treatment/intervention screen and those meds will be added to the current meds list (Home Meds List) and will be printed and a copy given to the patient. Let me know if you need copies or examples of anything we are using.
