Our Radiologists have said exactly the same thing.  The process/sign reports works really well apart from this – they would like to be able to access the Held Reports from process/sign.  They can put it into Hold from process/sign and do this sometimes (when they want to check something out before signing, etc), as well as the transcriptionists putting it into Hold on occasion.  I’d be very interested to know, too, if anyone has a custom for this.  It would be a good MIX enhancement if not.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] HELD REPORTS AND THE RADIOLOGY PROCESS/SIGN REPORTSROUTINE

Hi,

Has anyone done a custom in the Radiology module that would allow the radiologist to look at and edit reports that are in a held status from the process/sign reports routine?  Our transcriptionists put reports in a held status when they have questions or can not understand something.  The radiologists want to access these from the process/sign reports routine and then edit them and sign them.  They could run the held reports list and then use the routine edit by patient but they don’t really want to do all of this….

Thanks…Sheryl
