I was asked to post this for my
director:
We have been trying to use the standard
Crossmatch/Transfusion Statistics by Doctor report, but have run into issues
because the report gives the attending the stat for the unit of blood, rather
than the provider who really ordered the blood. According to Meditech,
this is because we have our Customer defined parameter for OE BBK PX Add on
hours set to 72 (which is what we want).
Does anyone have a report they would be
willing to share that would show monthly transfusion statistics based on the
doctor who ordered the unit instead of by attending?
Thanks in advance,
Sandy DePlonty
