To All Massachusetts Hospitals,
I've been making the changes for the submission files to DHCFP and
while I understand and can do all the "mechanical" pieces I'm struggling
with the process for gathering the data to submit. The areas that I'm
having problems with are those revolving around Race 2, Hispanic Indicator
and Ethnicity. Have you added these questions to your registration screens?
And if so, are the registrars actually asking patients these questions?
Maybe I'm just not "getting it" but I feel this is an invasion of a
patient's privacy. Just wondering how others are doing this. Thanks for
all responses.
