It has been around 6 months and I am still waiting on the allergens package to be fixed. The last time that I spoke with Mark Donovan was that the site that they were testing this on had it working at least in test and that it would be soon (that was a month ago). I graduated from the University of Maryland and am proud to be a Terrapin, but Meditech moves like a terrapin and should be ashamed to be one.

Many thanks Charlie!

We were told that no one is LIVE and your status certainly speaks to that.  Did they give some sort of timeline regarding resolution?

Does anyone know if this is working properly in C/S?

Were the problems Charlie is currently experiencing part and parcel of the process of getting this right in C/S?

Thank-you.

Robin - We have it in test, but there were problems with the conversion in test. I had Cipro in Dextrose as an allergy on a patient and after conversion had 50+ different concentrations of Dextrose as allergies. Also, if I had it as an allergy (just FDB's choice of Cipro in Dextrose), I got flagged for any IV that had Dextrose in it. FDB and Meditech are working on fixing this, but haven't yet. I would hold off until it is fixed. We are Magic, 5.5, SR2. By the way are you a pharmacist? If so, I would like to add you to my Meditech contacts.

Dear All,

We are undergoing a MAGIC 5.5 update and thus have received DTSs: MG PHA 6470 & MG MIS 7245 otherwise known as MIS Allergies Version 1B(1A referring to allergy configuration & coding of an older variety).

Has anyone gone LIVE on version 1B?

If so, can you provide any insight regarding potential pitfalls in implementing this enhancement?

Thank-you in advance!
