We are currently seeking a Project Manager - Activation Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate must have project management experience with Meditech activation planning (go-live) expertise to focus on Clinical and Business applications. In this role, you will assist healthcare organizations with nursing/clinical/financial initiatives specifically focusing on Meditech systems implementations, release upgrades, and system optimizations. Additional responsibilities include project management, system build, policy and procedure development, training and testing and systems support. REQUIRED: * Proven experience in the processes, procedures and plans necessary to support and lead the go-live activation planning for all of the Meditech modules at single and/or multiple facilities. * Strong foundation of knowledge of hospital operational support requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education is required. * 3+ years of hands-on MEDITECH systems experience, preferably with a blend of information systems and functional background. * Proven implementation experience with AT least two or three of the following MEDITECH Clinical modules: Patient Care System, Nursing (PCS, NUR), Electronic Medical Records, Patient Care Inquiry (EMR, PCI); Physician Order Management, Order Entry (POM, OE); Pharmacy, Medication Administration Record, Bedside Medication Verification (PHA, MAR, BMV); Laboratory, Blood Bank, Pathology, Microbiology (LAB, BBK, PTH, MIC); Emergency Department Management (EDM); Operating Room Management (ORM) * Working knowledge of patient care flow in relation to optimizing the day-to-day use of MEDITECH * Ability to WORK with and communicate at various levels of the client organization inclusive of management, nursing, physician staff, and the MIS department. * Ability to translate clinical needs and realities into systems terms * Effective oral and written communication skills and facilitation skills.
