Anyone have an order rule that actually places the order for a Urine Culture when a Urinalysis is ordered on children 2yrs & under? MediTech wrote me a rule but it cannot actually place an order – it only tells the user to add a culture to the requisition, so if the user gets interrupted or forgets, the order doesn’t get placed and the doctor is upset at the lab because they did not get the culture.
