We document Advanced Directives present, Resistant Organism specifically
listing the type and No Student Trainees present during in-patient stays. PCI
BBD then remains relatively uncluttered.

Any intake point can document on their natural screens, i.e., admissions on an
admission CDS, Nursing on an assessment. But only specific people, HIS for
Advanced Directives and Students not present, Infection Control for resistant
organisms are allowed to document in PCI BBD (and for that matter, MRI CCI.)
Whenever documentation occurs in an assessment we cross checked against
admission CDSs, MRI Critical Care Indicators, and nursing assessments and PCI
BBD.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] PCI Bulletin Board

Hello,

We are looking for sites that are actively using the PCI bulletin board
function. If you are using it, we are wondering what users are allowed to
use this function, what type of information is entered, who monitors/cleans
up the information. We currently only use it for infection control and
certain problematic blood bank history information. Any help would be
greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
