Hi Cory,

The following should work for you:

1) Create an xx field to be placed at the beginning of the line that will have the underlining.

2) Use the following attributes for the xx field:

DAT=FREE
JFY=L
LEN=1
VAL=IF{L(@field)^/R.GR["US","DPM.zcus.report.R.1",10],
VAL=%Z.rw.graphics("","","","","","",1,"DPM.zcus.report.R.","","D"),""}

You will need to replace @field with the field you are underlining.  You will also need to replace DPM with the DPM of your report, and report with the name of your report.  Also, 10 is the column at which to begin the underlining.  You can replace it with whichever column # you like.  On Page 3, on your report picture, in MAGIC, you can press <Ctrl> <F1> to see the exact column #.  In CS, it is <Ctrl><F2>, I think.

3) You can then put the field you want to underline on that line.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck,

Brian Schmit

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] NPR RW Help

Hi,

Does anyone out in L land know how to underline a field, but only the characters that print, not the whole allotted length of a field? As an example, I want to underline a field that could possibly be 50 characters long. When the field prints, it may print data within that field that is only 30 characters in length. Using the standard bold function in the RW it underlines the whole 50 characters allotted leaving 20 blank spaces underlined on the output. I only want to underline the characters that print. The Meditech RW specialist was unable to tell me how to do this.

Thanks,
Cory
