I am looking for some feedback that I can use to respond to an audit -  What are you doing for account lockouts? Right now, if someone enters their password incorrectly three times, the Meditech system locks the screen for one minute.  There is a parameter setting that would allow the user account to be expired after three incorrect entries.  Is anyone using that?     If you have the account expire, what was the impact on the IT department?  Also,  what are you doing for password change intervals?   We are set to 180 days, but the auditor would like it at 30 days.  Again, I see a large impact on the IT staff.
