Our hospital is
currently investigating a product that offers a prebill
solution that would reside in coding. They say it is designed to interface
with Meditech in ABS and the encoder. APC Pro
would provide all CCI, OCE and any other
edits that any healthcare insititution would want to build. It's
purpose is to inform coding of billing issues prior to coding/billing so that
they may be resolved on the front end. Has anyone heard of this product,
using it, or investigating using it with
Meditech?
